Clinical Productivity / Bell Curve software: Performance evaluation for physicians and departments
Computed CPT code variances as documented by physicians for both visits and procedures
Automated graphing of visit % by provider against either year-to-date or national distribution
The user selects a physician or medical department, then can multi-select up to 22 visit types. The software then graphs the physician/department activity by % of each activity's CPT code within a multiple-acuity visit type, generating a 'Bell Curve'. Hospital administrators use this.
Evaluation & Management Annual Physician Audit software: Prospective reviews by department are summarized and graphed in this Access software. For each audited patient visit, any of five acuity levels are assigned for History of Present Illness, Review of Service, exam and diagnosis. Assigned and amended CPT codes are monitored and reported on by physician and department to insure that over- and under-coding of CPT values is minimized year to year. Compliance deviation reports are shared with hospital administration. Software then creates summary reports for latest four years.
