Sept 2020-February 2021 Customer Service Representative - Humana Insurance Company
This contract was for a work-from-home call center representative for Humana Insurance Company and I handled Medicare accounts. This required an enormous amount of patience and care. We handled everything from billing and ID Card shipment to claims and enrollment. All calls were recorded and audited leaving little-to-no room for error. This position also required the use of ten to twelve different computer applications and systems that were used for things as simple as documenting calls to a back end DOS system that held members private insurance information. This project was non-stop and very challenging but I learned an exorbitant amount of information in a very short time and was given the privilege to help so many people. In just five months I was promoted twice and received a $2.50 increase in hourly wages based on performance and outcomes.
Sept 2017-August 2020 Onboarding Coordinator/Real Estate Agent – Giving Tree Realty Dilworth
When starting with this company, I was hired to meet with new agents and set them up with their company email and Dotloop access as well as familiarize them with our CRM. After three months I became the sole Onboarding Coordinator and during my time in that position our roster grew from 85-140. My duties included bringing on all new agents and creating their training plan as well as setting them up with all the technology and marketing we offered. Part of my growth in this role included overseeing the retention of all agents with a strong focus on making sure they were able to properly submit files for payment and be fully compliant with all transactions. Close reporting was kept to track the progress of all agents as they transitioned from new to producing agents. I also obtained my NC Real Estate license and was asked to join a high producing Zillow Team. During my time on the team I closed 12 buyer deals in my first twelve months and have since become one of three Listing Agents on the team. With 5 listings closed in the last year.
2014-2019 Head bartender/Bar manager – Nikko Japanese Restaurant
Was initially hired on a part time schedule and after only three weeks became the only full-time bartender in this very high paced restaurant. As one of Charlotte’s highest rated sushi establishments maintaining order while also serving close to 600 guests was imperative.
2005-2014 Project Manager – Chelsea Builders
Coordinated all trades and inspections on medium to large scale construction projects including local restaurants and shopping centers while maintaining draw reports and expense sheets. This job demanded long hours and an extreme eye for detail. Inspections had to be artfully scheduled in order to not slow the progress of the entire job. Other details such as weather and draw payments had to be monitored and accounted for with scheduling as slowing down a large commercial project could equate to thousands of dollars in penalties.
