Software Development Experience
Project 1(2017-2018)- was a website for a fake corporation called Business Technology Solutions, I used C# for back end function and design, also using bootstrap and jQuery with html for mostly design purposes. Also used Photoshop for custom features such as brand tag and editing down and cleaning up employee photos, all of this was developed using the agile method, which means the company gave us set number of goals and design features and we carried them out with little to no feedback at each step of the way.
Project 2(2017-2018)- This project was for a hair salon in Ada, Oklahoma called Krave Salon. We had to take it upon ourselves to find this company and get them on board with the idea of wanting a website and hosting it on Azure, after overcoming this we used the scrum method which is like agile except it allows for constant feedback in short time spans, to develop her website, for this project I used again html with bootstrap and JQuery packages for the front end design and Photoshop for editing information. Back end was C# and CSS that had heavy html and java. This project was also a team project so I was able to lead in setting tasks, communicating with product owner, and leading our daily scrum meetings. This project really helped me develop my understanding and practical applications of the scrum method which is widely used today.
Project 3(2018-2019)- Was created in Visual Studio Code, this allowed for angular, python, and java code plus my past experience all to be combined together to make a banking app for another school project. This project allowed me to start integrating application programming interfaces, such as one from Kontomatik, it allowed to receive personal data, show account balances, and full financial statements, from many banks that also used their service. This project was for a fictitious company but in my estimation had the most value to my development knowledge. I was able to learn visual studio code, which can combine multiple programming languages seamlessly. I learned a lot about application programming interfaces and the legality around using certain types. Again this was a group project where I had the chance to lead using scrum method, talking with the product owner weekly who was our professor in this case, and writing up reports in our bi-weekly scrum reviews and our daily scrum meeting detailing plans for completion and setting new to do tasks for my group.
