Hired as a Seasonal Employee I was one of two people kept on out of a team of twenty for permanent employment. I was cross trained in all departments including Softlines, Hardlines, Customer Service, Operator/Fitting Rooms, Electronics, Garden. Grocery/Raw Grocery, Cashier, Food Ave and ‘Ambassador’.
I was recognized three individual times for a speed and conversion rate in the 99 percentile and having signed up the most Red Cards (Target Credit/Debit cards) in the district of thirty stores.
I was promoted to ‘Store Ambassador’ because of my high positive Guest reviews. As Ambassador I personally led guests to what they were looking for, answered any questions they may have and Team Members would redirect upset Guests to me.
I was also promoted to the Team Lead of the Cashier and Food Ave.
