Project:

● Thermal Power Generation May 2017-June 2017

Experienced and learnt how the thermal power generation takes place by the combustion of coal. Got industrial exposure and this practical experience will help in better understanding and enhancement of knowledge.

● Ash Handling System May 2016-June 2016

Got to know about the ash handling process

Gained knowledge about different valves and their flow processes.

● CEMS December 2018- June 2019

The successful completion of the Continuous Emission Monitoring System project for the powerplant stacks led to proper communication of the plant and the CPCB server and maintenance of the system was done whenever the emission level increased or decreased as per the norms declared by the CPCB.

● Asset Development and its update in the company’s System January 2019- March 2019 The continuous update of the Instrument inventory was successfully completed till date using the SAP platform and proper cost to company from the Instrumentation end was known.

● Pest Control System installation February 2019 – March 2019 The successful pest control lead to the greater productivity and mostly zero breakdown of the powerplant leading to greater efficiency.

● Contractor list update in the company data base June 2018- December 2019 Addition of internal and external contractor on a monthly basis to get a knowledge of monthly expenses for both the maintenance and project work of instrumentation, related to the improvisation of the plant productivity and efficiency was successfully completed till date.

● Process flow chart development and monitoring sheet preparation July 2018- December 2019 Preparation of flow of processes and Monitoring sheet was successfully completed for all the instrument and maintenance related activities taking place within the plant premises till date.

● QTF project May 2018- December 2019

● Electrical Drive taken in line with the DCS for the powerplant Dearator and Feed pumps Oct 2018 – December 2018 Both the analog and digital signals namely Speed reference, Speed increase, speed decrease, RPM of the pump and the motors was successfully implemented with the help of Electrical drives. Skill Set:

● Basics of SAP and have worked in the PM module

● Software Programming Language: Basic knowledge of ‘C’

● Have hands on expertise on control valves (temperature, pressure, flow, level, etc)

● Have worked on the transmitters (Pressure, flow, temperature, level, consistency (blade and moving type), etc)

● Have worked on RTD’s ( including the type used in Turbine) and Thermocouple

● Have worked on the DCS (Honeywell) along with the ferrule making procedure

● Consistency transmitter value set up, Flow, level, temperature, pressure transmitter installation, problem detection,Vibration probe installation at the turbine during the turbine shutdown, RTD, Thermocouple installation and overhauling to detect the problems and their tracings during the plant shut as an Instrument Engg and a trainee

● Control valve overhauling, removal of scaling, ordering of parts, compressor overhauling and maintenance which needed to be replaced during the plant shuts as an Instrument Engg and a trainee

● Work-order, Purchase-requisition, Asset update, etc preparation using SAP platform as an Instrument Engg and a trainee

● Took active participation in all the maintenance related activities with the plant premises as an Instrument Engg and a trainee
