●Freeport LNG Project: Worked on a study that considers the maximum loads from the Liquefaction Facility from the Freeport LNG trains to the Freeport LNG Ground Flare Systems, and documents design data for the pressure relief, flare, and emergency depressuring systems. The Liquefaction Facility (LQF) design includes a single dry gas flare system that serves the three liquefaction trains and the new common utilities. Global overpressure scenarios are modelled, and system capacities have been reviewed with respect to hydraulics and blowdown timing and staging requirements. The purpose of this flare system evaluation is to determine the adequacy of the ground flare system to safely accommodate relief loads in the event of global overpressure scenarios. A global overpressure scenario is defined as a single event (or set of related events) that results in multiple discharges to the relief header system.
●Sempra LNG, through Cameron LNG LLC, currently owns and operates the Cameron LNG Re-gasification facility located in Hackberry, Louisiana on the Calcasieu ship channel. This facility comprises of three (3) nominal 160,000 m full containment LNG tanks, submerged combustion vaporizers, two jetties sized to accommodate up to Q-flex capacity LNG carriers and all associated facilities. This facility was constructed and commissioned in 2009 to supply 1.5 BCF of natural gas into the US natural gas distribution system via a dedicated 35-mile natural gas pipeline. The current Cameron LNG project converts the terminal to an export terminal with liquefaction facilities while maintaining the re-gasification capabilities.
●The modified terminal will have a nameplate capacity of 13.5 MTPA LNG with an export capacity of 12 MTPA. It will have three LNG Trains each capable of producing a nameplate capacity of 4.5 MTPA. Each LNG Train includes feed gas treatment, heavy hydrocarbon removal, and liquefaction. The liquefaction unit utilizes APCI C3MR technology in Split MR™ configuration and incorporates an End Flash Gas Compressor. I was responsible for defining the Operating modes and Training the Operators and working as well with the pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start up activities before to Normal operation of the facility.
