Milking, includes gathering, preparing milking equipment and feeding of cows post-milking.
Involved in the treatment (and vaccination) of animals, for both internal and external parasites. Manage and monitor mastitis treatment response on cows, through observation of the udder, milk stripping and milk microbiology (sampling mastitic milk, plate on an agar in a petri dish and incubate to culture present microbes).
Assist the veterinarian when inseminating cows, palpating or scanning to diagnose pregnancy and during surgical operations.
