Rentals and Reservations system is the core Business Critical system at Avis Budget Group, which is used worldwide in a single instance. The Reservation system is used by Customer Support personnel to interact with the clients and make the reservations for check-out and check-in of cars at the thousands of locations worldwide. The Rental and Reservation systems run on mainframe and are interfaced by the web applications. Avis Budget Group also maintains a back office system to support their business. The back office systems consist of accounting, reporting, Fleet, sales & marketing applications.

Ticket Settlement and Reporting (TSR) is to provide settlement services and financial transaction between travel agents and airlines. Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) is a third party vendor who take cares of financial transaction between travel agencies and airlines. The Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) provides ticket transaction settlement services between airlines and travel agencies.
There are many applications like Management reports, Translog (Utility to display I/P messages) and UDARS (User Daily Activity Report) included with Ticket Settlement Reporting (TSR) to support all Ticketing applications with the Apollo and Galileo core systems and TSR feeds data to these applications.

Numerous report formats generated and scheduled for automatic distribution. Claim costs compared to the Policy Premium limits, integration of self-administered claim information are available. Claim data from worldwide locations is consolidated for easy viewing and ad hoc reporting.
Data Services
Stores historical loss information, Recovery information from Claims Processing / Recovery systems to Commercial Insurance host systems, for viewing of complete loss history through the Claims Data Warehouse Reporting.
The project also involves in conversion and re-engineering process and development of new modules in Claims Data Warehouse, Cognos Reports. Yet another value adding feature of the project is considerable cost reduction by performance tuning of jobs, cleaning-up database and archival of unused jobs and datasets.
