RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Research Assistant Aug 2014 - Present

• Designed and executed group IIIV(GaN, AlN, InN, InGaN and etc.) material using (AFM, XRD, XPS, TEM, PL, Raman and etc.) and device characterization using (IV, CV, Hall and EQE).

• Designed and simulation of 2D semiconductor photonic crystal waveguides (by Comsol)

• Key Achievements: Design, process, fabrication and characterization of new structures for double Graded GaN/InGaN which were growth by Molecular Beam epitaxy (MBE)

• Introduced 3 different graded structures to get studied as intermediate bandegap solar cells

• Developed different analysis methods based on material characterization methods of strain for Ternaty Group III Nitride materials such as XRD, PL, etc. for the new grown Ternary alloys

• Developed a new modeling (Simulation) study for graded structure to calculate efficiency and solar cell parameters

• The new photonic crystal (PC) design minimizes computational resources by modeling a PC with one infinite dimension with periodic boundary conditions while modeling the second with finite dimensions.

• The reflection model capabilities are demonstrated by calculating the reflection spectrum for various parameters: period length, number of periods, incident light polarization, and materials List of Publications:
