Serve as an Intelligence Advisor as required, senior advisor to the Commander USAFRICOM on FBI issues and applicable policies impacting the Area of Responsibility (AOR) and extended Area of Interest (AOI), including Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Advises the Commander, Deputy Commander, Component Commanders, senior officers in Command directorates, and Command Components to support the USAFRICOM decision-making process. Advises and supports teams of military, DoD civilian, other U.S. Government (USG) departments and agencies, and contractors in support of USAFRICOM as they perform duties related to FBI’s mission.

Ensure the USAFRICOM Commander and Staff are informed in a timely manner of pertinent FBI intelligence and information, of both a CT and CE/CI nature. Provide effective interface and coordination between USAFRICOM, the FBI Headquarters, Field Office Legal Attaché’s (LEGAT), Joint Terrorism Task Forces, and other agency organizations dealing with terrorism, including the collection, analysis and dissemination of related information. Ensure USAFRICOM Commander and Staff are given prudent advice, guidance, and recommendations relative to USAFRICOM’s interaction with the FBI on terrorism and CE/CI matters and issues related to national defense and other pertinent matters within the USAFRICOM AOR/AOI. Participates in Focal Point planning and operations in support of hostage rescue, counterterrorism, or targeting of high-value individuals, to provide FBI/DoJ unique capabilities and possible prosecution options. 40%

2. Further FBI Mission. 3. Coordinates development, drafting, writing, production, revision and completeness of intelligence plans, annexes and associated appendices for any and all which require command input. Prepares the intelligence plans, and intelligence portions of command contingency plans. Develops plans and updates existing intelligence plans to meet ever-changing and expanding requirements for intelligence communications and equipment support, hardware, software, and other resources. Ensures relevant requirements and Essential Elements of Information are produced for all plans. Reviews higher headquarters and subordinate installation contingency plans.
