Key Deliverables:

Manage, Set up, monitor, implement Client’s/Company’s Project EHS Plan, policies, programs and procedures as per International Standards and other local/statutory laws and regulations. Implement Contracts safety requirements.

Coordinate/work closely with project team to ensure safety implementation. Lead, direct and provide overall leadership in safety implementation and achieving the set safety targets.

Manage, monitor compliance of contractors to the established safety plan and procedures of the Client/Company.

Assist contractor in the conduct of emergency drills including safety trainings, risk Assessments/JSA preparations, mass meetings, TBTs, safety awareness campaigns, etc

Issues NCRs, safety violation reports/memos/instructions/penalties to contractors for safety compliance.

Safety inspection reports issued to contractors are close out on the specified period. Stop any works if it does not conform to safety standards and where there is an imminent danger.

Checks/monitor contractor’s safety performance by auditing their overall safety implementation.

Initiates, organize, chair weekly safety patrol attended by all contractors Project Managers/Safety Staff/Clients Safety Representative and regular safety meeting to resolve safety and environmental issues.

Review/approve contractor’s submittals (includes other projects) e.g. Safety Plans(project HSE plans/fall protection plan,emergency plan, etc), Method Statements, Risk Assessments, JSA, PPE samples,

Contractor’s safety records, documents and ensure major construction equipments are properly documented & maintained regularly. Review contracts safety requirements of each work package.

Conducts risk assessment, safety inspection, safety audit, staff training, investigation, assist Site Managers in safety management in other projects.

Assist in hiring project safety personnel, prepares staff training requirements, yearly safety action plans,

PPE requirements, etc. Ensure emergency procedures are in place in all project sites and nearest hospital locations.

Accountable for site inspections and office audits

Reviewing contractor’s Method statements, Safety action plans and Risk analysis

Achieving stated targets of the company and ensuring smooth running of the organization

Coordinating and participating in bi-weekly safety meetings, and formal worksite inspections
