Wrote operator and maintenance manuals, emergency response cards, and manufacturing instructions for electric, hydrogen, and natural gas hybrid trucks and buses.

Developed all text and artwork using a variety of tools including FrameMaker, Word, Sony 24MP camera, Adobe Illustrator, and GIMP.

Developed troubleshooting trees starting with J1939 fault codes/vehicle symptoms to isolate faulty components.

APIs documented included e-commerce client-side transactions and RESTful APIs to populate product store.

Main development APIs were implemented in C/C++ exported to developer scripting running on a Linux port to create an application sandbox.

Information gathering for these APIs involved engineer interviews, searching the C/C++ source code for script export points and initialization parameters, and writing hundreds of test and example scripts.

First priority was documenting a new API for visual element development using “Scene Graph” trees and XML configuration of the object-oriented visual components, very different than the typical linear function call architecture underlying most similar development architectures, such as AppleTV and AndroidTV.

Wrote a unique tutorial to guide developers though the entire new API, from developing simple visual components, to combining the simple components into complex custom components, and finally, writing a complete Video-on-Demand client application using custom components.

Wrote all of the tutorial code, created all of the tutorial artwork, and wrote all the descriptions of the code used to create components and entire applications.

Tutorial was designed to be a visual guide to allow developers to see the appearance and function of the various built-in and developer-extended custom components, select a component, copy the code that created the component, and read a description of the code to allow developers to customize the code for their own application.
