PROJECTS
Cannon Machines Send/Receive Program
Robert Cannon, President of Cannon Machine, asked me to come up with a process which would allow sending a G-code file from a personal laptop to a machine which would then receive that code when the machine is finished. The concept came about because the machinists weren’t putting the G-codes back into their rightful folder making it difficult and frustrating for the next person that needs to use that G-code. It is now a great way to keep all the G-code folders organized. With support from the Lead Programmer, I came up with a code using Auto Hotkey.
Recovery and Wellness SonicWall Firewall
Recovery and Wellness was only using a basic Netgear router, so I upgraded it to a SonicWall TZ400W. This way they are protected and still wireless. I installed it into the networking closet and configured it myself. Its currently running fantastic and is updated monthly. I learned how to properly configure the firewall and got a basic understanding of its settings that can be applied for more detailed protection.
