I was one of two students selected in my 2nd year in University to sit on the Mount Union University's steering committee up to my senior year at Mount Union dedicated to finding ways and new ideas to implement positive change in regards to race relations, University reputation, and improving the campus community. Members of the committee besides the two student representatives were the Dean of the school and the head of every department on campus.
