● Maintain and troubleshoot Multiple MS Access Databases used by two Flowserve Sites with more than 400 employees combined. The first site is in Taneytown, Maryland and the other is in Hastings, Nebraska.

● Manage and troubleshoot the Main, Aftermarket, AutoPMU (Purchase Markup %), and CIP

(Continues Improvement Plan) Databases.

● Design and develop new queries, forms, and reports in MS Access based on the Project Management, Engineering, Assembly, Quality inspection, and Finance’s inquiries to improve current processes and efficiencies.

● Design a data management solution for archiving old data to increase data security and to improve the application’s performance while running queries and reports.

● Design and Maintain tables in MS Access to receive data from an old data management system named Symix. This is an old program used by Flowserve for the last 20 years.

● Design and Develop the database’s layout and structure based on current needs while keeping in mind future possibilities for more improvements.

● Set up templates in Excel as required for easy and bulk upload of data to certain tables as needed.

● Design and incorporate a testing requirement into the process prior to releasing newer versions of the MS Access database’s front end. Based on this requirement, Project leaders are responsible to assign 1 to 3 individuals as the ‘Beta’ team who will test all improvements for a period of 1 to 2 weeks.

The application collects and stores data in MySQL server. The application design allows visitors to sign in from all entrances while the reception is aware. Current visitors on site can be viewed at any time with any device. This was particularly important in case of an emergency evacuation.

● Researched, designed, and developed an entire livestreaming system to allow Flowserve to live stream pump tests to customers all around the world. The design process included a comprehensive understanding of internet protocols, different streaming formats (RTSP, RTMP, HTTP), understanding encoding, pushing/pull streams, media servers, and cameras.

● Design and develop the website to stream the live feed.

● Incorporated an online recorder to allow the Flowserve Project Manager to record each livestreaming without the need to install a third-party program to record a livestream session.

● Developed an online scheduler to schedule livestream sessions.

● Developed an online interface to view and control the Pan, Zoom, Tilt of each camera from the webpage.

The idea was first suggested to the management while they were in pursuit of purchasing an order management software and was unable to find a software that would perfectly fit around the operation.

The designed database allowed the user to quickly create scope. In addition, the database would recommend three subcontractors based on pricing. This feature was highly recognized by the Contracts Manager in the head office since it prevented the field coordinator to recommend subcontractors based on personal preference. BidTab Creator was shared with other sites.

● SiteTrack – Designed and developed a database in MS Access to assist with site reconciliation. The MS Access database would import data from a subcontractor management system and allow users to review and reconciliate line items.

● Administrate moderately complex contract changes by negotiating with subcontractors. •

● Prepare and issue Contract Amendments for management's review and approval with respect to any change in the commercial value of the contract.
