Contracted to open the New England and NJ territories for Anthracite coal sales. This included developing and executing a marketing and sales plan as well as a business plan. The main effort was hunting primarily in person but also via telephone. The position also required the strategic building of relationships through repeated set appointments as well as cold calling in person. Specific marketing objectives as set forth in the marketing plan were attained as was an extensive knowledge of Anthracite coal, its geology, and the coal industry in general. This included hands on work at the mine.
