Employment
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, (July 2017 – Present) Northern Virginia
Management Trainee (July 2017 – July 2018)
As a Management Trainee, I learned the business practices of the company, sales strategies, and provided excellent customer service. Within 4 months of employment, I ranked amongst the highest of my colleagues in the same position and consistently exceeded company goals. I moved between 3 branches (Gainesville, Manassas and Manassas Park, VA). After a year, I was promoted to a Management Assistant.
Management Assistant (July 2018 – November 2018)
Enterprise typically locates employees with management potential to an airport location to train. I was assigned to the Dulles Airport branch which is reserved for employees who rank amongst the highest in their peer groups. Here I was able to gain hands on experience in how to work cohesively with management in a fast paced environment. This is where I mastered my sales skills and began to learn how to operate a large scale rental operation.
Assistant Branch Manager (November 2018 – January 2020)
As an Assistant Manager, I was responsible for managing the auto detailers (3-4 people) and the fleet of vehicles for the branch. I was responsible for interviewing and hiring auto detailers. This allowed me to learn how to conduct interviews and determine who would best fit our team. I was promoted to a larger branch after 6 months due to ranking amongst the highest of assistant managers in the group (NOVA, Southern MD and DC). This opportunity allowed me to manage more employees and a larger fleet of vehicles.
Branch Manager (January 2020 – December 2020)
As a Branch Manager, I assumed full responsibility of the day to day operations. I created a marketing plan to bring in new business from the local car dealerships. As a result, the branch profitability increased significantly adding a new source of revenue. As Branch Manager, I created a friendly and efficient work culture which correlated directly into our customer service reports and sales. I helped in the training of my employees which resulted in many of them obtaining promotions within the company.
