1.Driver: Delivery and Merchandising of the employers products( Dairymaid) November 2020 – current

Pre-Trip

●Perform pre-trip inspection (to be completed and dropped in the safe for leaving in the morning).

●Ensure that I have the correct invoices in my possession for the round before I leave.

●Be neatly dressed.

On-route

●Courteous and friendly at all times.

●Delivering to customers according to delivery sequence.

●Obtain customers signature on credit tax invoices and/or collect payment for cash tax invoices.

●Obtain and return all account invoices stamped and signed.

●Deposit all cash into truck safe as and when collected.

●Operate vehicles in compliance with road ordinance legislation.

●Sell the products at published wholesale prices, which is updated from time to time.

●Ascertain what products the customer needs.

●Ensure that the vehicle is locked front and back at all times.

●No customer may be outstanding without employers consent. Invoices stamped COD are strictly cash on delivery (COD).

●The merchandising of goods must be in accordance with the prescribed layout which will be updated from time to time.

●If I foresee that I will complete my tasks after 17h00, I am required to inform my employers.

●No unauthorised persons are allowed to be transported at any time.

Post Delivery

●Clean the vehicle.

●Refuel the vehicle.

●Refer to customers complaints/queries to employer.

●Complete the cash up sheet and post the money in the G4S machine (count manually if the machine is out of order). Drop the cash up sheet and all relevant documentation into drop safe. All required documentation must be fully completed, including time and mileage sheets.

●Load vehicles for next delivery (if required).

●Ensure products are stacked properly to avoid breakage.

●Check any returns from round, reasons must be noted on each invoice for stock return.

●If finished late and no office staff present, I place any returned stock from the rounds in the drivers room fridges. If I have a lot of returns and cannot fit, truck unit must be plugged in, switched on and the stock to be left in the truck.

●Report and defects on vehicles.

●Carry out any other reasonable instructions/tasks the employer might request.

●Hand in all tax invoices for the day.
