Career Summary:
Account Manager HVAC – Primary responsibilities included but not limited to
overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, monthly, quarterly and yearly
projections, preparation and review of proposals, performing compliance reviews of
contract and project, performing compliance on projects over 30k. Interviewing and
involvement of the hiring process of key employees. Managing the administrative and
customer relation/retention for the City of Houston, Metro and GSD, HISD Maintenance and
Repair Contract which included; handling the day to day operations and scheduling of the
Contract Group in the field and administrative personnel. Assures of customer satisfaction
and compliance of contracts and projects via face to face meeting, video conference and
scheduled periodic reporting and meetings. Working with the field team, project managers
and leads to assure the projects are on time and stayed within budget and with best
possible margins. Worked to resolve and find resolution for issues to assure customer
retention.
Customer Service Manager/Fleet Coordinator – By using my skills, include phone,
face-to-face direct sales and marketing to potential fleet accounts I was able to organize,
design and implement a department to target key fleet companies, and maintenance and
nurture current accounts, by doing so increasing the profitability to the company and place
it a contender to becoming a strong fleet service provider in the industry. I also organized
and set guidelines for establishing local and national fleet accounts with the services
needed to maintain the operation of their vehicles, e.g. UPS, Houston Police Department,
Harris County Sheriff’s Department, and Dr. Pepper to name a few. And positioning me the
Liaison between that fleet accounts, Ford Motor Company Representatives, and Engineers for
repair services. My skills in; contract negotiations, warranty repair mediation, and training
of new service advisors also brought profits to the organization.
Marketing/Operations Manager - As Director of Operations I managed the day to day
operations over sales, purchasing, scheduling and quality control of jobs preformed tasks
both in house and in the field. Also contract negotiations and mediation at all levels, of city,
state and federal entities including private companies of all sizes. I implement guide lines to
meet all Federal Regulations set by Texas Environmental Laws. My skills in direct
supervision, marketing and account relations I was able to save the primary account
causing the company to have lost their standing as the primary service provider in the
Galveston, Tx market place. Once re-establishing the company in the market, I established
new procedures related to the operations and maintenance/up-keep and day-to- day
operations of the facilities: ie: Moody Gardens, Transitional Learning Center and Grand
Opera House. Also, I implemented a management resolution groups to help resolve internal
and external customer grievances to assure a successful and positive working environment,
new hiring and firing procedures, as well as new methods to reprimand employees. My
marketing skills also included the marketing of the companies and representing it through
conventions and meeting with key members of companies in order to retain their business
and to acquire new accounts and by doing so increasing our visibility and our strength in
the market place.
Previous Career History
I contracted with various Optometric Medical Practices to design, install, and/or
reorganize their contact lens departments making it more profitable and increase patient
numbers thus increasing the size of the practice. This included negotiating with the
practice’s sales representatives, setting up pricing and advertising within their market
area/region. Worked closely with federal agencies on various projects. Hiring new staff,
staff training and development, and direct supervision of all employees. And set up guide
lines to work with in FDA regulations for the R&D department of new plastics for Class III
Surgical Devices
