Introduction A 17 year veteran of advertising, sales and marketing focused on client and company growth. I have had the opportunity to work extensively with both large and small companies to build brand strategy, go to market strategy and build teams for direct and channel sales models. The majority of my career has been in security technology and healthcare both B2B and B2C focused. My most recent experience has been with cybersecurity and compliance companies. Experience Davis Consulting - Principal August 2015 to Present Experienced Sales and Marketing executive focused on the development and growth of both small and developed startups. My primary goals within these organizations have been to build business plans, focus sales strategy, form channel and vendor relationships and aid in the raising of capital. My main experience has been in various technologies, security and compliance and healthcare spaces. Handling several roles during the past two years as VP of Marketing and finally transitioning into a channel development and direct sales role for the company. Built relationships for SignaCert, both public and private sectors, with a large focus on healthcare, banking, government and retail. Developed and maintained OEM, VAR and MSP relationships for the company as well. Keeping all tracked in Salesforce for marketing development as well has allowed for faster growth. Employer Direct Healthcare – Director of Marketing July 2012 to April 2013 Startup healthcare company focused on lower cost surgical for self-funded health plans. Responsibilities included creating a brand and direct marketing efforts to employers, physicians and employees. The three-pronged approach created specific challenges answered with good research tactics and specific messaging encompassing each segment. Managed consulting relationships outside of the organization to reach our goals. Increased plan usage of 12% over a four month period and persuaded employer groups reluctant to communicate of the need through case studies with clients who did communicate. Communication was both B2B and B2C in message. Brownwood ISD – Teacher/Coach August 2004 to May 2012 Family decision to move and change career. Responsible for teaching Biology and Chemistry classes at the High School level. Successfully led the student on our at risk campus from 7% TAKS passing rate to 88% passing over 4 years. Built a championship girls soccer team from the ground up teaching girls mental and physical strategy while teaching them leadership and teamwork skills. Greatest accomplishment during this time was leading young people into successful situations and seeing them grow into great people now out in our workforce making a difference.

Davis Consulting - Principal June 2002 to January 2004 Consulted with different agencies on new business and brand awareness. Engaged in both B2B and B2C research to help build brand strategies for new and existing clients. Temerlin-McClain Advertising – Account Supervisor January 2001 to June 2002 Member of team working on the Verizon brand in the merger between Bell Atlantic and GTE. Responsible for managing all marketing efforts for Verizon DSL, ISDN and data products division. Managed a team of eight direct reports on the account management team along with managing the creative, media and production teams. Campaigns included database management, broadcast, print, DM, collateral and online media. Grew DSL sales through B2C communication over 40%. Grew ISDN sales through B2B strategy over 23%. Consulted on other agency accounts such as American Airlines and JC Penney. Rapp Collins Worldwide – Account Supervisor February 2000 to January 2001 Managed numerous agency teams across a wide client base to create direct marketing plans while devising and managing vast database marketing efforts for all. Improved client sales numbers across all segments of business. Helped grow agency client roster as well.

Square One Advertising – Senior AE January 1995 to February 2000 Member of teams handling all marketing efforts for Wilsonart International, Dal-Tile International, Whataburger, Miller Brewing and GTE. Successfully grew Wilsonart sales and helped expand them from countertop company into other product segments to increase overall company revenue. By expanding company offerings into flooring and real stone products they became a much diverse and stronger brand. Branded Wilsonart and Dal-Tile in overseas markets. Both B2B and B2C marketing tactics were required for numerous sales channels. Built marketing tools for distributors worldwide ensuring cohesive brand awareness.

MCCommunications Advertising – Account Executive April 1994 to January 1995 Assisted on numerous teams handling clients strictly in the high-tech and wireless market segments. Clients included Nokia, Nortel, Fujitsu, Ericsson, Sprint, AT&T. Helped in research and strategic planning for client base. Learned excellent strategy and gained experience in numerous areas of media.

Skills Experience with numerous clients in many different market segments has allowed me to gain a depth of knowledge to pull from in designing and executing very concise and strategic plans to get the message out and increase sales. I have done research, planning and implementation of marketing communication plans with very specific purposes. Knowledge of print, direct, electronic, and broadcast media allows me to create very diverse plans with a singular focus in goals. My understanding of new marketing tactics such as social media, SEO/SEM and apps has allowed me to broaden my scope in planning and target audiences well.

Very skilled in both IOS and Windows based programs, database management, call center software and have been a part of teams to design software for specific business needs. Brand awareness, brand development, marketing communications, creative strategy, corporate branding, public relations, database marketing are all strengths in my work.
