WORK EXPERIENCE
April 2018 to August 2018 & June 2017 to August 2017 – Line attendant, Otomatt Supermarket
As a line attendant I was usually assigned to one section per two weeks and on rotational basis, be moved to another section to ensure that I understood the products and movement thereof. In this regard I managed to learn and master various processes and skills which were not limited to the following:

• Calling clients subscribed to the multichoice products to check on how they have been receiving the services they subscribed to
• Troubleshooting for any issues the clients may be facing with the services and escalating any technical issues to the responsible department

As an intern at Toyotsu, I was involved in all the procurement processes. My work involved the following:
• Coordinating receipt and dispatch of vehicles from and to suppliers respectively along with their required documentation
• Imputing data on new vehicles received, units that have been released and new information pertaining to the stock on the company’s ERP system
• Arranging for the mechanical checks of the units with the service department
• Arranging for servicing of the company’s import stock upon arrival at the showroom
• Administrative duties such as handling calls to and from clients and assisting them where the need arises, responding to emails and enquiries sent and making reports pertaining to my department

Undertook a bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management and attained Second Class Honors: Upper Division. I was educated and taught on the various components and parts of the supply chain from production, procurement, warehousing, logistics, distribution, and customer service. I also learnt about the various departments involved in the supply chain and their interrelationships.
I subsequently gained wealth of knowledge in the areas of principles of accounting, financial management, investment management, risk and insurance management, clearing & forwarding, port management, cost accounting, total quality management, taxation laws and practices, operations management, entrepreneurship among others. I also learnt about the various laws and bodies governing the procurement sector in the country and internationally and their various purposes and functions.
