TopTA application– Used by Cohen team to display long and short trades for multiple traders on sectors with the capability of different views based on user selection. Redesigned and implemented the backend for this app using Web Api that simplified the usage. The older app was a windows app which was complex and hard to maintain. Designed and developed events module which includes various street events like earning, meeting and conference. This is a web api layer between the CORE system and all the Board application. Was instrumental in guiding the ETL process that wrote to SQL table from the Web API.

Board applications – A WPF client application used by the Cohen team to display the Cohen positions and provide exposure values for various sections. The application is used to manage exposure and acts as a central point for visibility to his and others positions. The Board receives near real-time price and position updates from PanoPositionGrid, Neo, and the transaction webpages.

Short Position Tool: The compliance short state tool is used to monitor SAC short position at fund, investment and firm level for potential violation of short position thresholds. Compliance uses this report to determine if SAC is required to file a report if the short position for a security is over certain thresholds. Technology used ASP .net, AJAX and SQL server

Holding Reports: Three Percent Report displays SAC holdings in domestic securities over a 3 percent threshold. Compliance and legal use this report to determine if SAC needs to file any report if the position violates any limit or threshold. One Percent Report displays SAC holdings in foreign securities over a 1 percent threshold. Compliance uses this report to determine if SAC needs to file a report with a foreign country if the position violates any limit or threshold by individual countries. G&E log (Gift and Entertainment Log): Used to track and report employee gift and entertainment activities and provides quarterly employee reminders to update entries if failed to do so on a regular basis. Managers can review and approve reports. The log generates various activities, exception reports, email subscription for exception report to integrate employee into the HR System.
