CONSULTING – April 2002 to Present

TD BANK – June 2016 to Present – PMO Project Manager – Managing a project for the implementation of PeopleSoft Enterprise e Compensation. The software enables managers in compensation planning, administration and reporting. Responsible for Analysis, Design, Construction and Testing. Also responsible for creating and managing project plans, maintaining and resolving issues, and leading project and executive level status meetings.

Managing projects for updates to the PeopleSoft Human Resource, Payroll, and Time & Attendance. systems. Reengineering existing processes. Responsible for Analysis, Design, Construction and Testing.

ANTHEM – August 2014 to June 2016 – PMO Project Manager- Led a project for the annual Medicare product launch for the Enrollment and Billing functions of Facets. Managed the analysis, design, testing and implementation of updates and modifications to multiple batch and online systems. Programming team located in India. Concurrently managed a project for the rewrite of the system that creates the Anthem Medicare provider directory. Responsible for overall project management including Risk Management and status reporting to executive management.

HORIZON BLUE CROSS – March 2014 to August 2014 – PMO Project Manager - Managed a project to create a system for attribution of members to PCMH’s (Patient Centered Medical Homes) and ACO’s (Accountable Care Organizations). Responsible for overall project management of both the Business and IT teams and status reporting to executive management

ANTHEM – August 2013 to Feb 2014 – Scrum Master - Led a Scrum project for the implementation of a medical insurance claim pricing system for the states of Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine. Managed the Scrum team through the modification of 4 systems to construct a batch and online pricing system. Responsible for facilitating 6 Sprints.

CVS CAREMARK – Jan 2011 – July 2013 – Scrum Master - Managed a Scrum project for the migration of clients of Caremark, from one Pharmacy Benefit Management system to another. Concurrently led a Scrum team in the addition of selected areas of functionality. Responsible for facilitating 16 Sprints.

AIG - August 2010 – Dec 2010 – Project Manager – Managed the testing quality assurance for the outsourcing of the PeopleSoft Payroll and Benefits functionality. Coordinated AIG and staff of the outsourcing firm to assure that testing contained the required level of thoroughness and occurred on schedule.

CBS BROADCASTING – February 2010 – May 2010 – PMO Project Manager – Managed the design, configuration, and modification of the PeopleSoft Payroll system. Led a team of 15 consisting of CBS and vendor resources. Responsible for the overall project plan, budget and leading Business and IT teams in areas such Reporting, Interface Design, Construction and Software Configuration.

ANTHEM – Empire BlueCross – October 2008 to October 2009 – Overall IT PMO Project Manager for the Annual Benefits Changes for 2008 and 2009 for the membership, claims, and e-Business system. Led a team of over 30 Wellpoint and vendor employees, in the technical design, construction and implementation of modifications to multiple systems, ranging from mainframe to web. The changes improved pricing flexibility and medical plan options leading to greater member enrollment and company profitability. Resource time managed through Planview.

PFIZER – Project Manager – April 2008 to September 2008 – Managed the global outsourcing of the International Human Resource, Payroll, and Benefits business processes, applications development and support. Worked with the outsourcer to resolve and escalate issues, maintain schedule and quality, and ensure the proper knowledge transfer.

DUNN & BRADSTREET – Project Manager - February 2008 to April 2008 – Managed the design, configuration, and modification of the Authoria Recruiting module. Also led the off-shore design and development of interfaces to and from the Oracle Human Resource System.

LI & FUNG – Project Manager, November 2007 to February 2008 – Managed the testing and rollout of ADP’s EV5, Enterprise Human Resource, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Attendance software.

UBS – Wealth Management US, Project Manager – March 2006 to Sept 2007 – Managed Business and IT teams on a project to implement a weekly payroll for non-exempt employees to receive Overtime and Additional pay on a more frequent basis. Responsible for managing the overall design, construction and testing which involves teams on the Human Resource (PeopleSoft), Payroll (Integral), and Time Keeping systems. Led status meetings for executives in Human Resources and Information Systems. Coordinated with the Legal department and outside vendors such as ADP. Also provided HR project management assistance on the Piper Jaffrey and the McDonald acquisitions.

HEWITT ASSOCIATES, Project Manager – October 2005 to January 2006 – Project Manager on the Global PeopleSoft Payroll Outsourcing project at Wachovia bank. Managed the Analysis and Documentation of payroll processes that were being outsourced to Hewitt. Also managed the Year End payroll activities for the Thomson Corporation Payroll system. Responsible for the managing the Year End update process to the payroll system and the testing and production of W-2’s.

PFIZER, Consultant-Sept 2004 to Dec 2004 – Responsible for process improvement of the project management function of the Pfizer Consumer Health Group.

CYBERSHIFT, Project Manager – Dec 2003 to June 2004 - Responsible for managing implementations of CyberShift’s web based Time and Attendance software. The software has a Java architecture with a Rules Engine that is tailored to the specifics of each client.

CABLEVISION, Project Manager – March 2003 to September 2003 – Responsible for several enhancements to the PeopleSoft HR web system at Cablevision. Created the Analysis and Design documents for the enhancements and updated HR configuration tables. Responsible also for creating project plans for the upgrade of the software. Also managed a project for the software selection of Case Matter Management software for the Legal department at Cablevision. Responsible for requirements definition, RFP creation, vendor evaluation, and vendor selection.

DOW JONES, Consultant – April 2002 to February 2003 - Led the analysis, design and process reengineering for a global web intranet Human Resources system that enables managers to enter transactions for Hires, Terminations, Transfers, and Compensation Management. Also, managed the testing of the system.

METLIFE INSURANCE, Project Manager – June 1998 to November 2001

Managed the testing and implementation of the Global PeopleSoft Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits system. The project team consisted of MetLife staff and PWC consultants. The system processes data for over 30,000 employees and was converted from a legacy mainframe system. Post implementation responsibilities included planning and budgeting with business unit leaders, project management, and supervising a staff of analysts and programmers. Also managed the upgrades.

Managed the implementation of the PeopleSoft Training Administration (learning management) module. Led the requirements definition, design, testing and implementation.

Customized the Avaya Customer Relationship Management system to meet Metlife’s business requirements. The system enables the Human Resource call center representatives to manage customer interactions, and fulfill customer requests.

Managed the maintenance and enhancement of the Authoria Content Management system. This system provides access to benefit plan data and enables call center representatives to respond to employee questions.

Managed a 20-person team consisting of Metlife and vendor employees, for the analysis, design, construction, and implementation of a company-wide intranet Job Posting system for managers and employees. The website was integrated with the PeopleSoft Human Resources System to allow managers to post jobs and employees to respond on the intranet. Also responsible for the managing a vendor relationship on this project.

ACCENTURE CONSULTING, Manager – 1996 to 1998

Managed a project at PrimeCo Telecommunications for the design and implementation of the PeopleSoft Human Resource, and Benefits Administration software. Developed the Fit Analysis, and supervised the System Design, Construction, Testing and Implementation phases.

Led the analysis and planning of an upgrade for a PeopleSoft Payroll system at BellSouth. Managed a functional and technical team that analyzed a customized system so that accurate upgrade estimates could be determined. To streamline and facilitate the upgrade, partnered with the business users to discard many customizations in favor of standard PeopleSoft functionality.

ERNST & YOUNG CONSULTING, Manager – 1989 to 1996

Managed a project to create global tax software for expatriates as an add-on to the PeopleSoft Human Resource system. Managed the complete project lifecycle which included development in PeopleTools. Also responsible for coding several panels in PeopleTools, and PeopleCode . Constructed an SQR program.

Led a project at Nissan Motors to determine the compatibility of the PeopleSoft Human Resource package with business requirements. Led sessions to determine business requirements, gap analysis, and business process re-engineering.

Managed a project at Unisource, a major paper distributor, to re-engineer Human Resource processes to incorporate best practices and achieve uniformity among 21 operating companies. Evaluated and selected a Human Resource system in which the re-engineered processes were the basis for the functional requirements.
