WORK EXPERIENCE

Costco – Cashier Assistant / Member Service – August 12, 2020 to Present

Responsibilities Greet members, helps members load order onto conveyor belt, determines member’s packing preferences, answers questions, relates information on special promotions, thanks members and provides prompt and courteous member service.

Packs member orders into boxes and loads to a separate cart or flatbed. Checks packaging for

Transfers items not on belt to separate cart or flatbed as cashiers scan them. Follows proper departmental procedures for performance of duties.

Maintains cleanliness of register area and general front end area. Cleans spills and trip hazards immediately.

Performs related tasks such as set up and closing duties for the department such as, returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking registers and cleaning area.

Operates mechanical trash compactor/cardboard bailer.

Support the cashier during various promotions.

Conducts hourly warehouse safety and security checks. Walks the warehouse and perimeter. Corrects safety and security problems encountered, such as spills, trip hazards and blocked exits. Fills out the inspection forms and shows results to the duty manager. Attends warehouse safety meetings.

Welcomes members entering the warehouse. Approaches, smiles and makes eye contact and greets. Verifies membership card. Offers cart if necessary. Keeps entrance/exit area clean.

Clicks a handheld counter to count members entering the warehouse.

Greets exiting member. Checks accuracy and validity of member’s receipts and compares to merchandise. Arranges speedy assistance for any member correction or concern. Marks receipt with highlighter, thanks member.

Provides and arranges prompt and courteous member service. Directs members to product and service locations. Enlists assistance for loading, shopping, etc. Dries off wet carts.

Watches after hours exit door discretely from personal vehicle and reports door area status by 2-way radio before doors can be opened for employees. Drives warehouse perimeter in personal vehicle for security checks. Watches closing managers leave. Reports suspicious activity to duty manager and calls police if necessary.

WESTJET - Guest Service Ambassador - May 16, 2016 to August 2020

Responsibilities: Greet and provide general airport directions to guests with the WestJet attitude and customer service excellence, Assist the guests who have special needs (pushing wheelchairs, escorting UM, guiding people with visual impairments.) Move and lift bag to belt, handle line control during peak hours, groom aircraft, acting as a Welcome Ambassador to our arriving guest, help the CSA to board the guest at the boarding gate and direct the guest right to the aircraft.

Responsibilities Taking care the passengers need assistance especially in wheelchair. Helping the airline agent for boarding & arrival.
