Help members/employees with pension or health and welfare issues, (i.e. file appeals, check claims, file pension applications and short-term disability claims). Use organizational skills for proper document filing.

Type professional letters for Teamster Officers and Business Agents of the union. Create databases and maintain monetary grievance logs, create templates, answer phones, and transfer calls. Log mail in and distribute, type grievances and letters, and call companies regarding any issues with member benefits.

Perform mail outs (work with mailing machines, huge copiers, and postage meter). Order supplies when needed. Keep all copiers and fax machines loaded with paper, keep up with company emails and website. Conduct informal meetings. Schedule appointments for Agents. Record funds on collection sheet.

Provide leadership in streamlining existing office operations, resulting in a significant increase in efficiency throughout call management, filing operations, and coordinating of office meetings.
