• Designed Discrete Event Simulation (DES) to simulate courses of diabetes for evaluation of healthcare policy in Taiwan; estimated cost, utility, and QALY of different policies and treatments.

• Combined Weibull-Cox Proportional model, inverse function, and competing risk in DES model, highly matched with observed data by t-test. (Python)

• Developed Markov Model for cohort simulation to assist in preventing diabetic complications, considering 8 diseases.

• Structured time-dependent transition probability with parametric Weibull model and regression model to calculate risk of com- plications, endorsed by experienced doctors in Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital to aid in health education. (Python, Excel)
