Forest Fire prediction Aug 2020-Dec 2020

Integrated the wildfire event data and the weather data from different counties of California. Mined the wildfire records from state, federal and local agencies and came up with a model that predicts the occurrence of forest fire. Several classification models like Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, Random Forest were implemented but Support Vector Machine gave a better accuracy and F1 score compared to other models. Insincere question classification on Quora Aug 2020-Dec 2020 Built a classification model using Passive Aggressive classifier to classify insincere questions in Quora. The question text available as parameter was subjected to tokenization, stop word removal, stemming as part of preprocessing. Later subjected to Term Frequency Inverse Document Frequency (TFIDF) vectorizer to transform to vectors before training the model.
