I am a hard-working individual who is willing and able to learn as quickly as possible to become a valuable member of a team. I bring fifteen years of experience in a variety of roles, and I believe that diversity will assist me in any future role. Working in the Payroll Department of The College of New Jersey and implementing the Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll and Time & Labor modules, which is successfully processing payroll for all full-time, part-time and student employees.

I worked for six years at Rutgers University, a complex structure of both state-funded and auxiliary enterprises. Having a senior position in one of the largest departments within the school, I acquired a well-rounded knowledge of various aspects of the university’s inner workings with one of the largest student housing operations in the country, an evolving parking and transportation system, and significant procurement involvement for the department.

Throughout my time in in public accounting with a Big 4 accounting firm, I’ve gained invaluable experience in a wide array of areas, such as: auditing practices, business functions, internal controls and managing teams, taking an analytical approach to an organization’s finances, giving presentations to all levels of employees, handling several priorities at once, and encouraging communication through my attitude with both my colleagues and clients.

My MBA degree that I earned at Rutgers University while working also provided me additional background in marketing as well as entrepreneurship. The gained experience from exploring different fields, interacting with several of the brightest classmates and faculty, and managing multiple teams and responsibilities is invaluable experience that will continue to help me in my career.

My managerial approach includes asking questions, having open and candid communication, and striving to set goals and achieving them. I am constantly looking for efficiencies within a business process without compromising internal controls, and I believe I could help with pursuing more time-saving efforts, as well as documenting the effectively. I am very open-minded to suggestions from anyone at any level as long as the positives of an approach are well justified, and I truly appreciate my staff and foster an atmosphere of teamwork.
