COURSEWORK

Contracts and Sales I: Studied the basic principles of both the common law of contracts and sales of goods under Article II of the U.C.C, with particular attention to areas where there is divergence between the common law rules and provisions of Article II of the Uniform Commercial Code. Focused on requirements for formation of a contract, including mutual assent and consideration; promissory estoppel; warranties; and defenses used by parties to avoid liability on their agreements.

Legal Research I: Provided an overview of the process of legal research using online databases such as, Lexis+ and WestlawEdge.

Legal Communication I: Provided an introduction to the mechanics of legal research, writing, and analysis through the application of statutory and common law. The course also provided an introduction to drafting basically legal correspondence.

LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE

Lead a community service team to raise health awareness in Clarksville, TN. We earned a $190,000+ grant through many hours of researching and strategic planning to implement free-form workout equipment in the city’s largest community park, Liberty Park.

Volunteered 30+ hours at Wilmington’s Miracle League in North Carolina.

International team member with Cru Student Ministries at UTC.

Performed as a full-time student while working full-time.

Head of UTC’s Campaign and Event committee as a part of their Student Government Association.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Goble & Yow: Interned 150 + hours with criminal defense attorney Eric Yow during the summer of 2018.

Restaurant server: Successful server at many restaurants throughout my undergraduate career.

HOBBIES

I love restaurants and the various experiences they provide.

I enjoy playing soccer, hiking and mountain biking, and reading Stephen King stories.

I am a passionate enthusiast of music such as, rock bands, film scores, and musicals.
