Job Description: Responsible for executing emergency services for police, fire and medical emergencies as well as non-emergency calls for service, in a prompt, efficient and professional manner. Service is provided to the entire city of Excelsior Springs, MO that has an approximate population of 13,000. Calls for service include dispatching emergency personnel for the Excelsior Springs Police Department for any police related call and or emergency; Fire Department and associated calls for service and emergency medical units for all medical emergencies. Responsibilities are varied and in addition to handling the calls; duties include keeping accurate records which include warrants for arrest and any documentation related to them as well as documentation pertaining to varied records kept to assist in the proper execution of the job throughout the year as well as preparation for department audits as required by municipal, state and federal restrictions. The executions of my duties while at the Police Department as well as Investigations are/can be conducted in both the English and Spanish language.

Primary responsibilities were the handling and coordinating of the emergency communications in the 9-1-1 Communications Center for police, fire and medical with the city of Independence MO, with an approximate population of 122,000. Also performed were assignments as the official Spanish/English translator and interpreter.
