Technical Service Engineer

Responsible for assisting Manufacturing and Sales for North and International Markets. Managed and reviewed qualification operating parameters and determined acceptable applications for product suitability. Provided concepts for new products and equipment. Applied Industry Codes and Standards, including PHMSA CFR 49 Part 192 and 195, B31.4 and B31.8, API 15S, 1160, 1162, 1173 and 1175. Construction, Mechanical and Piping Engineer

Led a construction crew of eight to locate, install and redesign piping, piping supports and equipment to the B31.3 Standard, during turnaround to finish before the 45-day turnaround time. The team performed at a high level and was able to complete the piping and piping support installs and redesign in 40 days.

ConocoPhillips – Ponca City, OK (Deep Cutpoint Heavy Crude Upgrade Project, $25MM)

Led a construction crew of 8 – 12, to locate, install and redesign piping, piping supports and equipment to the B31.3 Standard, during a sequential turnaround schedule over twelve months with four different projects.

Sinclair Oil – Tulsa, OK ($65MM project to revamp an existing Reformer to a UOP CCR (Continuous Catalyst Regeneration) Reformer; $9MM project to improve sulfur recovery facilities to reliably handle increased sour water and gas loads - included revamping an existing Sour Water Stripper, installing a new Amine Absorber, installing a new Amine Regeneration Unit(ARU) in parallel with the existing ARU in conjunction with CENTRY; $22MM project to tie in the Clean Fuel Phase II work with the required products, feeds and utilities - included the installation of piping to and from new vessels and pumps: new flare knockout drum and pump and the installation of a condensate flash tank for the proposed Amine Recovery Unit; $5MM project, a piping modification to allow for better removal of benzene’s out of wastewater; $30MM project to construct a 22K BPD Naphtha Hydrotreater and a revamp of the existing Hydrotreater Unit, converting the HTU to a diesel hydrotreating unit capable of processing 24KBPD of mixed feeds into Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel Product, both which are part of the Clean Fuels Program.

Assistant Mechanical and Piping Engineer, Project Engineer

Worked as a liaison between generation stations and Engineering Technical Services providing integrated solutions to technical problems utilizing internal and external resources, along with project management, mechanical/piping/structural/chemical Skill and ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of a diverse, multi-skilled, and multi-sized project delivery.

Provided the coordination as the project engineer and managed the project review and design for soft water system failures and boiler upgrade projects to the B31.3 Standard, for Proctor & Gamble, Kansas City, KS, ranging from $25K - $50MM

Assisted in the review and design to B31.1 Standard, of the Regenstein Chiller Replacement Project at the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Provided field support and to keep the project on schedule

Provided, coordinated and supervised the review and design per B31.3, of Hot Oiling Systems Projects for Frito Lay at their Modesto, CA, Topeka, KS, Frankfort, IN and for Tyson Foods, Fort Smith AR to help increase production and reduce heat loss.

Oversaw the piping engineering team coordination of developing and writing piping material specifications, piping stress analysis, pipe support design to B31.1 Standard for ADM, Cedar Rapids, IA, the power plant energy expansion projects ranged from $50K - $75MM.
