Project: Oil & Gas Project - Al Zour Refinery - KIPIC Administration Building - Kuwait Contract’s Value: USD 365 M

Client: KIPIC

Responsibilities:

Schedules the project in logical steps and budget required to meet deadlines.

Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.

Inspect and review the project status to monitor compliance with building and safety codes along with regulatory authorities.

Establish smooth implementation between client and company management.

Manage contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.

Direct and supervise Civil and MEP works.

Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.

Select, contract, and oversee subcontractors’ complete specific activities of the project.

Coordinates with draftspersons and technicians to transform designs to working drawings.

Requisition supply of materials to meet construction deadlines within the planned cost.

Implement and monitor quality control programs.

Supports construction planning, including foundation, carpentry, plastering, painting, and fencing.

Participated in Planning for Non-Planners Seminar: Presentation held in Al Ghanim International Head Office, presented for Project Construction Managers and Project Engineers to sensitize us to the importance of planning and its role in the projects and how to coordinate with the planners to accomplish the projects on time.
