• Reviews and checks financial supporting documentation for all payments and staff claims and issued PI’s in Helios System.
• Ensures that financial transactions and records are processed in accordance with Oxfam GB’s applicable accounting policies, forms, procedures and standards meets donor requirements.
• Ensures that financial transactions and bank reconciliation are accurately and timely recorded in to cashbook.
• Responsible for Ibb an Al Hawban ME closing/year close (Month-end returns and all associated registers and reconciliations i.e. debtors, creditors, prepayments, accruals, floats, advances, loans.) and provides budget v actual analysis as required.
• Monitoring bank / cash balances, regular cash count to ensure limitation of cash availability and requests for top-ups through Sana’a HQ finance manager.
• Review and verify payroll for Ibb/Hub offices with reconciles salaries deductions.
• Contribute toward preparation of new proposal and budget, review and set operations plans for daily operation with other team support.
• Work closely with the finance staff in country office and field offices to ensure correct coding and allocation of expenditure to donors, as appropriate and applicable.
• Review and verify the beneficiaries lists and participate in opening and evaluating tenders.

• Ensures completion required financial supporting documents for all payments requests by review, confirmed and signed by authorised levels and ready for pay to suppliers and staff.
