DUTIES OF THE JOB

Spearheading the Design, Estimation and Testing & Commissioning works for HVAC [DX & Chilled Water (Water & Air Cooled)] for Villa, High rise building, Hotel, Hospital, Seaport Construction Projects.

Preparation of Design Calculations for HVAC (Manually as well as HAP Software, Mcquay Duct sizer & Pipe sizer).

Prepare Duct Layout and machine equipment layout schedule and duct mounted equipments & accessories

Carry out proper closeout of all Project related work

Designing, Supervising & Erection of G.I & PI Ducting for AHUs, PAC Units, Split Units, VRF, Chillers, FAHUs, FCUs,Piping,and Make Up air Fans with Accessories (Motorized Dampers, Volume Control Dampers, Fire Dampers Final Fixtures, Non Return Dampers, and Grills & Registers & Lovers

Familiar with international standards and codes (ASHRAE, SMACMA, IPC, UPC, IBC, ASTM, ASME, etc.).

Design, installation and commissioning of Fabrication, Installation, Erection, Insulation, Grills, Fire Damper, Motorized Fire Damper, Air Valve, Air Balancing, Commissioning, Calibration, GI Ducting, PI Ducting, MS ducting for Kitchen, Floor, VAV/VRV Units Ventilation Fans, AHU’s & FCU’s.

Preparation of Method Statement and Inspection Test Plan of HVAC.

Responsible for developing end to end commissioning plans as well as perform survey of field commissioning services.

Handled the tasks of selecting equipment and preparing final commissioning report & Dossiers.

Handle the tasks of generating functional test procedures, defining standard methods and techniques of obtaining best test result.

Selection and procurement of HVAC System equipments, instruments & other related material as per specification.

Analyze HVAC systems (DX and Chilled Water) and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation.

Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments in order to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new HVAC equipment.

Creating technical drawing or blueprints with AutoCAD Software, working with a manufacturer or architect to understand project requirements.

Supervising Site Installation/Construction, Acceptance Testing, and Commissioning

Make note of production plans and requisite machinery, equipment and tools and place order for the same.

Coordinate with the management to put forth the demands, difficulties and suggestions of the workers.

Assisted in directing all internal projects such as moves and construction projects

Negotiating with the vendors to get the best possible rates in the market.

Preparation of shop drawings from tender drawings for all the Mechanical services as per the project specification and local regulation.

Preparation of production reports on weekly and monthly basis.
