Project Description : Day One Intégration in Short Tax year
Role: Lead Consultant
Period: Oct-2014- Aug-2015
The project is to ensure the system readiness (Oracle R12.1.3 Financials) on the Day 1 of the merger of an acquired company with an acquiring company.
The project involved mapping the fiscal calendar (Short Fiscal Close) as per acquiring company’s calendar to facilitate consolidated financial reporting.
The project also involved recalculating the tax depreciation of over 3 million Fixed Assets arising due to two short years (called Short Tax Years) of acquired and acquiring company having different fiscal calendar. The tax depreciation/reporting need to be complaint as per IRS rule of Merger and Acquisition.

Period: 2013-14
The project is to retire legacy application and migrate to Oracle eBusiness suite Release 12.2.3 version supporting three EBS tracks Finance, SCM and HRMS functions.
