Resume:

Qualifications for the Oracle, PLSQL Developer

Working as an Oracle developer - I am doing Oracle development since 1987 (30 years). Gathered requirements, modeled the data (using Oracle Designer, Erwin, Toad and Oracle Sql Developer), created the databases (DDL), implemented, and developed applications on top of these databases to insert, modify or delete the data. I build data warehouses for Honeywell starting 1994 (engineering test data, financial data, repair tracking data, aeronautical data). I am familiar with all phases of a data warehouse, including the reporting and data mining and analysis.

Develop PL/SQL Programs – The PL/SQL as Oracle preferred language was released in 1989 and I am using this ever since (28 years). As the language increased it’s capabilities over the years I used it more and more for all sorts of jobs. I used it to develop stored procedures, packages and functions, table triggers, in Oracle Forms & Libraries and in Oracle Reports. I also used PL/SQL to extract data from Oracle databases and format data at user request (Excel, XML, text files).

Designing and Modeling databases – I worked as the data modeler for all the applications I developed at Honeywell. Worked on gathering requirements from the user community, conducted data modeling sessions involving users in defining the data they wanted to handle and defining the entity relationships. Converting their requirements in relational models (using Oracle Designer, Erwin, Toad or Oracle SQL Developer), converted them in physical models and build the database.

Co-ordinate with DBA in deploying new database software - I always had to work with the DBA in deploying the new versions of the database, the new stored packages, procedures, database triggers, etc..

I was exposed to UNIX as a developer

I have very good communication and interpersonal skills.

Best regards,

Serghei
