Relevant Courses: Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Physics I and II, Matrix Theory I and II, Material Science SKILLS

• Solid Works (CSWA)

• MATLAB

• AutoCAD

• Auto Desk Mold Flow

• OpenSim

• Excel, Power Point, Word

• Machine Shop Experience

(CNC Milling)

• Draft Site

• DOE, ANOVA and 6 Sigma

Co-Op Experience

Vicor Corporation – Andover, MA

Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op July 2019 to December 2019

• Took on tasks of Superior Molding Engineer, e.g. fixing program errors and molding engineering kits

• Undertook challenging assignments working both independently and with a broad spectrum of engineers and technicians. Flatness Fixture Design Fall 2019

• Designed a fixture that would decrease panel warpage, cool panels to below TG, measure panel’s flatness, and shear off excess gate material. Designed, assembled and drew parts and assembly using SW. Tested first prototype in production. Mold Flow Prep and Simulation Fall 2019

• Responsible for the preparation and simulation of Panel Molding. Learned process in two training periods. Adapted process for under-fill encapsulation. Created a detailed manual of the process. Taught process to full-time Manufacturing engineers. Academic PROJECTS

Paid Robotics Research Assistant Position Spring 2021 – Working with Engineering Professors and Grad Students to implement controllers on robots, collect data, and analyze data using robot simulators. Specifically using inverse kinematics and dynamics in Open Sim.

4-Bar Linkage Design Spring 2019 - Designed, modeled, and assembled a functional 3 Position 4-bar linkage in solid works. Tested linkage for both performance and efficiency, by running a motion study animation, and measuring transmission angles. Further tested performance using a 3-D print of the design. Power Plant Reheat Efficiency Spring 2018 - Mapped out Steam Power Plant and analyzed the use of 3 reheat cycles to determine their effect on the overall efficiency of the system. Acquired all information needed to fully analyze system, through research and tour of power plant. Determined the power plant was significantly more efficient with 3 reheat cycles. Exergetic and thermal efficiencies were increased from 18% and 23% (in the case of 1 reheat cycle) to 81% and 30% (in the case of 3 reheat cycles) respectfully.

DOE Project Fall 2020 - Assembled and analyzed with ANOVA an L8 orthogonal array with 3 variables and 4 interactions to determine the optimal design requirements of a paper helicopter. CAM Design Fall 2020 - Designed a cam that would move a follower through prescribed positions, including 2 dwells. Modeled and assembled Cam follower system in Solid Works to verify design’s function ability. ADITIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE
