Achievements and Accomplishments

Defensive Driving Seminar – held Defensive Driving Seminar (with assistance from third party) for LPG bulk drivers in order to enhance safety awareness during driving.

Installation of vehicle tracking systems to LPG bulk trucks – facilitation of the program on installation of the vehicle tracking system onto the LPG bulk trucks for real-time tracking and potential prevention of product pilferage being carried by the trucks.

Fleet addition for LPG bulk trucks – facilitation of the program where due to the increase in sales volume for the LPG bulk, additional trucks are needed to meet the demand. Achievement is that the bulk trucks has increased from the past fleet of 4 units to 14 units. This was achieved through coordination with past haulers and reinstatement processes.

ISSSRS Level 3 certification of the TOTAL Manila Terminal – Certification of the TOTAL Manila Terminal based on the ISSSR System (conducted by a 3rd party certifying body)

Team: 1st Runner-up 2006 Emergency Response Olympics – Team member of the Manila Terminal delegation for the Annual Industry Emergency Response Olympics held at the Maritime Institute of Asia and the Pacific, Mariveles, Bataan.

Creation of a Calibration Table - Storage Tanks and Density, Temperature - VCF Computer Program – A computer program which allows the user to retrieve an equivalent volume held in a tank based on the level given and the corresponding volumetric correction factor (VCF) which certain converts volumes at air into volumes at a reference temperature (Volume @ 15 C).

Creation of a Barge Receiving Summary – A computer file wherein a summary of fuels receipts is logged, thus allowing faster reconciliation of receipt figures as well as variations analysis.

Facilitator – Driver / Hauler’s Seminar A seminar for TOTAL’s Tank Truck drivers and their respective haulers, giving them a refresher course on the safety aspects inside the Terminal as well as new developments in the field of delivery operations.

Facilitator – Seals Inspection Seminar A seminar for TOTAL’s Retail Station receivers and their teammates, briefing them on how to detect seals tampers and suspicious appearances / activities upon delivery of fuel products to their own retail stations. (August 15, 2004)

Development – Safety Policies and Procedures Development of the safety policies and procedures for CA Logistics which encompasses risk assessment developments, incident reporting, near miss reporting, conducting of tool boxes, business continuity plans for the logistics personnel
