PROJECT ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Under the direction of the Corporate Controller, supervising and managing the project accounting function across several divisions. Developing and maintaining accounting principles, best practices, and systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting information. A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as construction and/or project accounting. Advising on budgets, financial strategy, financial reporting, and forecasting. Responsible for managing a small accounting team, helping audit and ledger preparation, and supporting managers across teams with financial procedures.

Developed and maintained a structured process to ensure field finance documentation and reports are adequately reviewed and approved by staff, and all transactions are in compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulations, and accounting principles. Coordinating the timely preparation of annual budget forecasts for all projects and subsequent roll up into corporate budget figures. Responsible for budgets and P&L for a $55 million regional office.

Apache Industrial Services, Clute, TX 2017 – 2020

REGIONAL CONTROLLER

Prepared month-end closing, forecasts, and consolidation.
