Professional Experience

Cimarron Energy, Caralsbad NM 2020

For Cimarron I was part of a 5-man team taking care of Vapor Recovery Units. I was hired as the Instrumentation and Electrical back up. I&E Tech for the Willow lake plant and the Orla plant. We took care of all plant, pipeline and compression sights. I received some training on Endress Hauser end devices and software.

DCP Midstream, NM 2020

For DCP midstream I was part of the I&E team headed by Abe Garcia. We took care of electrical and control problems on Compressors and compression sights. I was put into a position of taking care of the I&E PM’s.

Last employer Ashley Electric. We provide automation for Devon new drills during flow back. We mostly dealt with Allen Bradly and Schinder remote Scada packs. We come back after flow back operations and provide gas orifice measurement and communications for productions.

Williams Midstream, Bloomfield, NM 2009 - 2013

Plant Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrician (ICE) Technician

Worked in a three-person team that oversaw the instrumentation, controls and electrical systems for a 140 MMSCFD Lean Oil and 80 MMSCFD Cryogenic Natural Gas Processing Plant.

Performed daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on all plant process electrical equipment to ensure 98% plant reliability goals.

Installed new instrumentation and electric equipment and interfaced the equipment with the Allen Bradley distributive control systems.

Assisted the plant operations team during upsets conditions and plant start-ups to achieve the 98% plant reliability goals.

Gathering / Measurement Technician 2013-2018 I took care of maintenance on Electronic Flow Measurement equipment of coal seam and conventional gas wells.

Additional duties included monitoring pipeline pressures through Sight line software programs.

Created work orders through Maximo software. This is then sent through a evaluation team to coordinate and assign these duties to a pipeline maintenance group.

Assist in these pipeline duties as scheduled by maintenance coordinator.

In times of new construction, we were individually responsible for creating a job plan that is run through a capital diligence team for approval. We were held responsible for overseeing and driving projects through to completion.

This includes Management of Change

Pre-Start Up Safety Review documentation.

Conducted group training and prepared documentation for MOC process.

PLG ENERGIES Farmington NM 2008-2009

For IMI I was part of a team that took care of new electrical and control installations at various Williams, Enterprise, Conoco, and Chevron facilities

While at Gaskins Electric I assisted with creating an electrical preventative maintenance program for compressor distribution locations.

Took care of the electrical equipment such as; Heat trace, Kim Hot starts, Lighting, Electrical distribution, and Motor Control Systems.

During the construction portion of my career I spent time on various commercial and industrial projects.

I took care of service calls for J&G Electric in Roswell NM, Merrill Electric in Carlsbad NM.

Foreman on the Zia school science lab and Gymnasium in Artesia NM for Gambling Rodgers.(I have no affiliation with the IBEW whatsoever.)

Foreman on the Park school classroom addition in Artesia NM.

Pizza Hut on 20th street in Farmington NM,

Fuddruckers in the Farmington NM mall.

Industrial experiences include the cheese plants in Roswell NM and Clovis NM.

Several shutdown projects at the Navajo plant in Artesia NM including the Cat Cracker revamp for Louden Electric.

I have since been involved with Williams gas plant shutdown projects including some as a project manager while employed with them.

Drilling industry, Artesia NM 1987-1994

I worked about 10 years in the drilling industry mostly in the Permian Basin area of Southeast New Mexico. I worked for Patterson Drilling and WEK Drilling (that is now owned by Patterson). Some directional wells for Devon in the Indian Basin of Southeast New Mexico (Lower Morrow formation).

Accreditations/Skills:

Carried an EE98J NM Journeyman’s license for 15 years.

Allen Bradley Programmable Logix maintenance and programming basics certificates.

Project management experience
