About Me
I graduated with a bachelors degree in chemical
engineering from the North West University in
South Africa. I am a strong enthusiastic woman
that naturally wants to take the lead while having
great people relation skills. I know how to be a
team player and enjoy working in a
multidisciplinary team. I am also able to perform
while working individually. I am an innovative
problem solver and like to analyze processes to the
finest detail. I am passionate about sustainable
engineering and eager to start my professional
engineering career.
Experience
2019 -
current
Bergsig Academy Teacher
As a teacher I have improved my professional
work ethic. My communication skills have
improved and I have learned how to explain work
to a group of people thoroughly. While enjoying to
see the big difference I make in childrens' life I
burn to make a bigger difference in society as a
process engineer.

Projects
2019 - 2019 NWU Operation Of A Hydrothermal
Liquefaction Batch Reactor
As a final year project I conducted research on a
Hydrothermal Liquefaction batch reactor operated
in a hydrogen environment. I determined the
different yields of products and components
within the products while changing the operating
temperature, heating rate and residence time. I
gained experience working with analytical
laboratory equipment such as a bomb calorie
meter, an inductively coupled
optical electron spectrometer, a high performance
liquid chromatograph, a gas chromatograph, a UV
spectrometer, an elemental analyser, a FT-IR
analyser and a GC-MS.
2019 - 2019 NWU Operation Of A Continuous Packed
Bed Anaerobic Bio-Reactor
As vacation work I operated a continuous packed
bed anaerobic bio-reactor. The project entailed the
anaerobic digestion of hydrothermal liquefaction
aqueous phase in order to reduce the COD content
and produce bio-gas similar to synthesis gas
