Education

Bachelor of Science in Physics Clemson University 2021 Academic Advantage Association 2018

Research

AMO Physics Senior Thesis Project Clemson, SC Spring 2021 Dr. Joan Marler

• Modeling projected data for an ion collision experiment with scatterplots and Gaussian line fittings to better understand the predicted outcome.

AMO Physics Clemson, SC Fall 2019 – Fall 2020

Dr. Joan Marler

• Used Solid Works to design an adjustable camera stand and an adjustable laser mounting to be machined by the machine shop on campus.

• Learned how to create blueprints of the pieces designed in SolidWorks, using proper formatting and providing detailed specifications of the parts so that they could be accurately processed by the machine shop.

• Designed and constructed a circuit to act as a thermocouple to provide temperature data for experiments. Created the prototype circuit using a breadboard and then the final result was soldered onto a perfboard.

• Visualized and found linear fits of provided data measured from gold foil in a resistive oven using Python. Atmospheric Physics Clemson, SC Fall 2018 – Spring 2019 Dr. Mate Adamkovics

• Learned the basics of Python to visualize and find linear fits of spectroscopy data from NASA observations.

• Self-taught fundamentals of atmospheric physics from Atmospheric Evolution on Inhabited and Lifeless Worlds to gain a deeper understanding of the data being analyzed. Work

Clemson Coastal Research and Education Center North Charleston, SC Summer 2020 Robotics Research Intern

• Collaborated with agricultural engineers and horticulturalists on the development, testing, and evaluation of a robotic weed control platform, Huskey, from Clearpath Robotics.
