Resume:

I’m a young motivated, driven, passionate individual who loves it to help

people, a true leader at heart. That’s the reason why I firstly studied BA Psychology and Languages. I started studying Bcom Human Resource Management because I find myself more of a manager in the work place and the Industrial Psychology around that attracts me. I consider myself as a hard working person, I pursue challenges and I'm a team player but can also work on my own. I see myself as a HRM manager in the foreseeable future, where I can make a difference and help a company grow to its full potential.

My educational background and experience has given me the professional, instructional and computer skills essential to the position for which you are seeking placement. Through educational employment such as the Academical Student Representative (ASR/ASV) for the Faculty of Arts at the North-West University, I have gained valuable experiences in instructional and administrative duties. I have acquired strong interpersonal skills by working with diverse groups in both asynchronous face-to-face learning environments and the workplace (Hollard and Spur Steak Ranches) . These experiences have provided me with opportunities to utilize and strengthen my versatility within these environments. Thank you for taking time to consider my application.

HOBBIES

My Calling and Heart of Purpose

The place God calls me to is the place where my deep gladness and the worlds deepest hunger meet.

Eph. 2:10 “I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand so that I would walk in them”. God breathes through me so completely… so gently, I can hardly feel it… yet it is my everything. Eph. 4: 1-3 “I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace”. I am made for heroic acts of generosity and love in a very real and brave way. As a hero my call is to give my all – for someone else.

There are people like me inspired by my God given heart to contribute to the well-being of others through acts that can alter a path, ease a journey, protect a life or perpetuate a dream. I am not powerless, I possess a immense wealth of love and strength to invest in other and in fulfillment of my purpose.

Everybody can be great … because anybody can serve. You don’t need have to have a college degree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love – yes, I do have a degree, it doesn’t make me better than others but it gives me more opportunities to serve in other places, higher places. The genuine love living and shining out of me enables me to step into the shadows to let another shine. I am a leader at heart, for me it is about making others better as a result of my presence and making sure that impact lasts in my absence. For me it is all about lifting a persons vision to high sights, the raising of persons performance to a higher standard, and the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations. Before I became a leader at heart, success is all about growing myself. Now that I am a leader, success is all about growing others. OWN YOUR LIFE; OWN YOUR RESPOSIBILITY. What if instead of waiting for good enough things to me, I could be the good thing to happen to someone else who is waiting! I want to do something beautiful for God – there is a person who needs me. This is my chance. I AM THE ONE, THIS IS THE PLACE, THIS IS THE TIME.

It is all about “connection” – connection is why we are here. We are hardwired to connect with others, it’s what gives purpose and meaning to our lives and without it there is suffering. Like Dorothy Day says: “we have all known the long loneliness and we have learned that the only solution is love and that love comes with community”. Like it says in 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”. When I live only for success, comfort, power, approval and possessions, my life is only a spark. It doesn’t make a difference of those around us. But when I live for a purpose bigger than myself, those who are near me is set aflame by my passion, humility and joy in serving those who need me. When a hero is called, that hero is to do good work. When a hero’s heart is convicted, it is called to a godly purpose of much greater scape. The greatest joys in my life are found not only in what I do and feel, but also in my quiet hopes and labors for others.

What is home for me? For me home is a safe place where one is free from attack, a place where one experiences secure relationships and affirmation. It’s a place where I share and understand one another. Its relationships are nurturing. The people in it do not need to be perfect, instead they need to be honest, loving, supportive and recognizing a common humanity that makes all of us vulnerable.

I want to join with others to form bridges of compassion, resilience and hope. I follow my heart nudge to say yes and then takes the leap of faith to secure bridges from pain to possibility. Rom. 5:1-2 “we throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand – out in the wide, standing tall and shouting our praise”. I know that great hardships often are the pressure that gradually forms the most brilliant diamonds – if we maintain a sense of hope. I always say when: “when a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened”. Unconditional love is an illogical notion, but such a great and powerful one. I am living so that my legacy of charity – of giving, serving and loving from an open and pure heart

– is the greatest evidence that I in fact lived. I am going to be brave, speak up and step out, be somebody’s hero and see how God uses me to change lives. Significance makes things happen, show empathy, uplifts people and impacts communities. My quest is never about success but it is all about significance. I walk the walk and talk the talk.

Only I can offer my God-given abilities and availability to be used for good. The hero within me doesn’t always happen in a burst of glory. Sometimes small triumphs and my large heart changes the course of history. Only I have this unique experience to offer this place. This is my measure; this is my vision; this is my mission.
