OBJECTIVE:
I am a highly motivated individual and everything that I do I put more than 110 percent of myself into what I am doing. I am very proud of my work ethics and how I conduct myself. I am a people person and a very dedicated individual. I work for AFSCME and the Operators for quite a number of years. The last few years I worked for my husbands company running it doing rural mail routes. I am always up for a new challenge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Over that last few years most of my stuff that I have done has been self taught. I have actually been afforded to just assist my husband with his business with keeping everything on track. When I wasn't doing that for him I would assist a few of my friends with their personal businesses. We also have rentals in Miles City in which I manage and have done some of the repairs for.
When working for the unions I attended all kinds of workshops and schools that were offered to me. I have attended the AFL-CIO organizing school in October of 2000 and one that AFSCME International put on in February of 2001. I have attended the Grace Carol Rocky Mountain Labor Schools in 2004 and 2005. I attended Strike and Steward Training that ASCME International put on in the fall of 2001. After that I was able to instruct locals by putting on both Strike training and steward training classes. I have completed Labor/Management and Interest Based Bargaining training from the State of Montana. I also completed Labor/Management and Interest Based Bargaining training from Jim Parman and Ted Handle with FMCS. I attended Grievance and Arbitration Training from Attorney Matt Thiel. In October 2008 I attended the Labor Law and Arbitration School. I have taken grievance to arbitration and wrote the final briefs for them. I have written and filed ULP's with both the State and Federal Services. I have had contracts go to mediation and have used that process on numerous occasions.
