Pioneered the replacement of an IBM accounting system to a state-of-the-art ERP solution. ROI within 6 months of the launch that supported inventory tracking, planning, purchasing, receiving, logistics and other inventory capacities.
Proposed and implemented an ERP solution that integrated itemized barcoding with inventory tracking. Streamlined the identification of best-selling items, inventory turns, gross margin and purchasing analytics. Converted over 6,000 handwritten tags to barcoded items.
Responsible for managing 15 million dollars of inventory between 3 stores and one warehouse. Also, responsible for all clerical processing associated with re-tagging.
Maintain effective working relationship with ownership, general managers, warehouse manager, interior designers, A/P and A/R.
Perform and orchestrate yearly physical inventory duties.
Conduct post physical inventory audits and partner with senior leadership to address shortages and losses.
Responsible for annual price increases, re-tagging and maintaining gross margin on sales.
Ensure system price increases are up to date for sales designers and establish strong professional partnership with Sales Representatives.
Work closely with Senior leadership, to ensure timely and accurate minimum/maximum inventory levels are pre-set or adjusted according to future on hand needs.
