This new database was made a standard with in Air Forces Space Command for tracking hazardous waste because of its ease of use. It was eventually rolled into an Air Force wide standard for tracking hazardous waste.
•Owned a 1 million dollar a year budget for hazardous waste disposal. Saved 250,000 dollars the first year through contract renegotiations. That 250,000.00-dollar savings funded compressed natural gas conversations for 10 vehicles and the purchase of a steam cleaning equipment for firearms. To reduce hazardous waste being generated by the Air Force.

Drove the discussions on using site recovery manager from VMware would give a better failover and business continuity model that using the load balancers and paying for multiple duplications of images across the data centers. Piloted the Dell/EMC file share with an electrical group and saved the image change and a lower charge per GB for storage reducing cost significantly. It also gave managers the ability to manage access within their own groups on file shares. Rough estimate on saving of the file server elimination and the reduced cost on storage was 1.2 million a year. The adoption of site recovery manager would roughly reduce cost by 6 million the first year.
