Work closely with the American Stroke Association and The Joint Commission to assure that all quality measures are implemented and met for improved patient outcomes. Assures that requirements are met to maintain certification as a Primary Stroke Center with the Joint Commission. Develops protocols and processes that assures efficient quality care. Analyzes data to assure improvements and shares with staff, physicians and hospital administration to inform on progress. Educates staff and community of signs and symptoms of stroke, risk factors and prevention, treatment and improved outcomes.
