GE Berry gas compressor: Change seal and bearing design. Wet gas seal to dry gas seal. Measure all new demission of compressor end cover for the new design of dry gas seal to according to Burgmann drawing. Prepare new bearing house for new bearing design. Adjust rotor to running position. October 1989 to August 2008.

Siemens PGI – Germany ( Ex Mannesmann DEMAG – DELAVAL) I was responsibility of maintenance work on gas compressor and pre – commission of compressor units with drive machine [E - engine / steam turbine / gas turbine] All work was carried out with local companies or employees of the customer. Number of employees was 10 person min up as not really manageable in countries like China and Iran. Among the new projects included measurement of foundations, installation of coolers and compressors with oil units. Observation the pipe work and pressure test of the cooling water - oil - process lines. Check that all supports of the piping are installed correctly and sufficiently. Cleanness of all pipes and pipe stress connected to the units, the connection of the pipes. Installing from instruments; in according to the P&ID. Installed: of instrument cables into junction box. Ensure that all control devices are installed correctly and in the correct position. Organize the transport of materials; to the construction sites and storage. Organized work on site. Unfortunately, it does not always work as planned and changes have to be made at short time. Daily kick of meeting and discussed with the site management and the individual groups for the status of work.

Only the transport organisation was new for me. The rotor must be in a separate box. The reason was not the 5.5 ton. weight. It was the size of the packing box at the compressor. I find out, 1 big box is more expensive then I send 2 smaller boxes to Germany are fewer prizes than 1 big box. 2002 – 2003 Iran 3 place. Customer: Alstrom Sweden. Commission: 6 natural gas compressor. (Gas pump station for gas pipe lines) 2003 to 2004 Back to back man KSA Jubail for 2 projects. Second project: Linde gas 3 air compressors (gear compressors) units with motor; new installation. Main compressor 40MW and volumetric flow rate 1st stag inlet 320000 cubic meters. Booster compressor 16MW and 40 bar end pressure.

Small compressor 6 MW and 86 bar end pressure.

December 2004 to March 2005: China Wuhan. Customer: Linde gas. New installation: 2 gear compressors units with Motors. Main compressor 35 MW and volumetric flow rate 1st stag inlet 280000 cubic meters. Booster compressor 16 MW and 80 bar end pressure.

June 2006 to September 2006 KSA

General overhauling: 7 Berry natural gas compressors. Customer: SABIC 2007 – Peru. Customer: DOE RUN

Process analyse and overhauling a gear compressor. February 2008 – to March 2009. Kuwait. Project name EQUATE. Customer: Air Liquide. New installation: 2 gear compressors with 20MW Motor.
