Good Day,
My name is Paul Pennell. I’m a seasoned Supervisor and operator with many years experience operating Excavators,Front End Loaders, Dozer, and Tandem dump trucks. I have operated other machinery including, Bobcats (skidsteer), Backhoe, Excavator, and Grader. I am accustomed to working long hours and weekends, including shift work.
Having been employed with the Dept. of Transportation and Works (NL), for 19 years I have been involved in all aspects of road maintenance. Road work involves constant interaction with the employees and the general public. Which has served me well on projects both big and small. Keeping the roads clear during long hours and harsh winter conditions has instilled in me a strong work ethic. Repairing roads and personal property due to flood damage, many involving road closures and traffic re-routing, requires cooperation, consideration for the people affected and a commitment to get the job done as efficiently, safely, and quickly as possible. My years with the dept. has given me a deeper understanding of what it takes to get the job done.
