SKILLS (about me)

My name is Vítor Costa and I was born in

Guimaraes but currently living in Lisbon. I’ve

completed my education in secondary

school in Fafe and attended the 1st year of

architecture, at the Luisiana University of

Porto. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with

cancer and due to treatments I had no other

chance but to give up on studying.

Unintentionally, to find out how to occupy

my time, I went to the hairdresser, learned to

develop skills, only with basic training and to

see colleagues working! I opened my hair

salon in 2017 but I had to close doors due to

the covid.

While working I’veI created my own network

of clients from scratch, because I am very

communicative, focused and dedicated. I

managed my own business, customer

agenda and finances, although I was always

in contact with my official account to help

and monitor the financial and bureaucratic

management of the business and brand.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

KenCosta Hai r - KenCosta Hair is my own

brand since 2018. The core consists in

sharing my work skills and my wallet of

international clients. My brand has always

worked alongside my employment in The

Loft.

Top Stylist - The Loft (Lisbon) 03-2018 -

(current job) For the last three years I have

been one of the top stylists in The Loft, one

of the most highly regarded Hair Salons in

Lisbon, Here I had the opportunity to

develop my creative side, and perfect my

own techniques. With constant training and

formations, it was mandatory for the Top

Stylists to be up to date with the latest

trends and techniques.

Top Stylist – Toni&Guy (Lisbon) 2015-2018

Toni&guy was one of the biggest learning

experiences I had in my life. Here I started

working as a stylist, learning the various

techniques like Layering, Graduation and

Reverse Graduation, texturizing etc... as well

as colorimetry, and when I perfected them

enough, I was promoted to Top Stylist.

2014-2015 - In 2014 I moved from Porto to

Lisbon, I started working for Eduardo Beauté

a Portuguese socialite, with Eduardo Beauté

I began my contact with the Social events in

Lisbon, often working with high celebrities

and television events.

Stylist - L’oreal 2011-2014 - Here I started

my career as a Hairstylist, with L’oreal I did

my hairdresser certificate and started my

journey in what would become my biggest

passion.
